what are
next steps?

Quite simply it's a step a member of a small group takes that will lead them towards spiritual growth. Leaders encourage group members to identify areas that they may wish to grow in. If for instance someone hasn't been baptized, that person may be ready to learn about baptism and consider a date and time to be baptized. Or an individual may feal that they need to spend more time reading their Bible or may want to start a One Year Bible. Another example might be if an individual is interested in attending Growth Track at Compass, in that case a leader would help them connect with Growth Track leaders. It's important that leaders discuss this with their small group members.

What Are Small Groups?

Small Groups are an intentional gathering of church members and guests. These groups of people agree to share life together. They plan where and when to meet and arrange their schedules to be there. They have a purpose for getting together. These groups have regular meeting times and schedules. The groups know when to expect their next gathering.

We meet for the purpose of joining God's Mission. That means that we honor Jesus' instruction to: Love God, Love Others, and Go and Make Disciples.
